With the help of your professional guide, use the fish you have caught to grill and cook a traditional Balinese seafood dish. With the experience being a complete ‘from catch to table’, you will learn how to make the delicious dish from scratch with a Balinese cooking technique known as ‘pepes’. This is where the fish is wrapped in banana leaves, taken from the Alila Mangiss garden, and is grilled before being served with specially prepared sweet potatoes called ‘Sambel Bongkot’.
