Trekking through the countryside will leave your breathless amidst the panaromic beauty and scenic views of Bali. Starting early in the morning is the best as the heat gets worse into the afternoon. Your guide will begin the walk at the Subak irrigation control to find the underground water irrigation tunnel which is a reminder of the Second World War. You can enjoy the view and gushing waters of the Petanu River as well.
The tour will then move to the Goa Gajah Temple, which is one of the most sacred temples in Bali. It used to serve as a sanctuary which is also called Elephant Cave Temple. You can then walk through the authentic rice terraces of the Tatiapi Village and watch the Balinese people go about their daily lives. If you're lucky, you can even meet a few artists before you head back to your hotel!
