Staring under the shadows of Batukaru Mountain, the Jatiluwih Rice Paddy Fields sprawls across 600 hectares. The entire place is elated with emerald lit rice fields that cover Jatiluwih in thick green blanket of wilderness for a spectacular view. The rice fields are maintained through a traditional water management cooperative known as ‘subak’ that dates back to the 9th century that dwells in the cultural significance of Bali. Since the rice terraces span over a huge area the place is picturesque that picked right out of a pretty postcard.
