Being one of the most famous temple complexes in Bali, the Ulun Danu Bratan literally means ‘the source temple of Lake Beratan’. Tucked away close to Lake Bratan, the smooth surface gives off the temple a floating effect while encapsulated by the Bedugul mountain range offers a scenic backdrop. The Ulun Danu Bratan temple is strategically placed that connects the island’s north and south side. The temple is dedicated to the Hindu trinity, Brahma-Vishu-Shiva that dates back to the 17th century.
