Graced with dramatic views of rice paddy fields, the Tegallalang terraces is the emerald ornament of Bali. The endless vistas run down and across the slopes of Tegallalang valley. Similarly, as Jitiluwih rice terraces, the Tegallalang also showcase the ancient subak water irrigation system that was passed down by Rsi Markandeya in the 8th century. The entire place is painted with beautiful scenery and dotted with cute cafes to satiate its visitors with tantalizing food.
