Delving into the spiritual vibe of Bali, the Trita Empul Temple is the symbol of purity.

Gained popularity as a national cultural heritage site, the Tirta Empul temple is a fine example of the Balinese old kingdom years. Built around 960 AD, the temple complex is home a holy mountain spring and basks in the legendary, traditional tale of good versus evil. Trita Empul meaning ‘holy spring water’ that cascades within these walls are the sources for various purification ceremonies, baths, pools and fish ponds in the surrounding areas. The interior is laced with lush green forest peppered with elegant statues on one side while the other side holds a meeting hall and purification bathing pools.
