The experience will start early in the morning as you get picked up from your hotel in south Bali at 8:30 AM and head to Sanur, which is the starting point for the wakeboarding course. Quick to pick up on but challenging to master, wakeboarding is the perfect sport for those who are looking for some exhilaration. These wakeboarding courses are available from beginning to advanced levels and participants will receive their training in three levels starting from Riding the Wave, Level 1, Jumps and Spins, Level 2 to Big Airs, Level 3.
Level 1: Riding The Wave
Your first lessons will be around learning hand signals to communicate with the boat driver and how to get in and out of the wakeboard bindings. You will be briefed about the safety measures required beforehand and you can practice until you are comfortable riding behind the boat, crossing the wake and using one hand to hold the rope.
Level 2: Jumps and Spins
Jump into the next level of training with your expert teaching you how to perform jumps and spins. You will learn how to generate extra speed when setting up for a jump and how to position your body and arms for a smooth and safe landing.
Level 3: Big Airs
The last session of the training will take you through a demonstration of jumping and landing from wake to wake, along with a range of impressive grabs and spins. Test your guts and try and launch yourself as high as possible, which will take a few tries before you nail a smooth landing over the wake.
