Get started early in the morning and a private transfer would arrive at the hotel entrance to pick you up. We would advise you to keep an extra pair of clothing, sunhat, sunscreen, and sunglasses that would come very handy on the trip. The first stop in your itinerary is Tirta Empul, a sacred water temple in central Bali, which was built around 960 AD. The premise is very sacred and is a meditation place for monks and devotees. As you enter, you’ll be welcomed by the sweet aroma of flowers and incense and peaceful ringing of temple bells. Inside the temple, you will meet a Balinese priest. He will guide you through the process of purification, where you perform sacred rituals and take a dip in the holy water. Next, you will be visiting Gunung Kawi temple that holds ancient shrines carved out of huge rocks on its grounds. It is located on the top of rice terraces and hosts magnificent views of Ubud valley. In the afternoon you’ll take a delicious lunch at the Bridges restaurant in Ubud. After resting for a while, you’ll be moving on to the last spot for the day- Goa Gajah. Also known as Elephant Cave, Goa Gajah is a popular landmark of Bali that made its way to UNESCO World Heritage list. At the end of the tour, you will be dropped back to your hotel.
