Embark on an adventurous tour as your deluxe coach picks you up from the designated pickup point or from one of the selected hotels, early morning. Sit back and relax and you cruise through a scenic two-and-a-half-hour route through Tokyo to the Mt. Fuji Visitor Center and learn about the historical significance and geology of Japan’s highest mountain from your expert guide. At the Visitor Center you can ascend to the second floor from where you can enjoy stunning views of the snow-clad Mt. Fuji on a clear day. After the view point the tour will proceed to Mt. Fuji’s 5th station which is located approximately halfway up the mountain at 7545 feet and is surrounded by shrines, torii gates, which are traditional Japanese gates that adorn the outsides of Shinto shrines. The 5th Station is also home to several shops which sell souvenirs that you can carry back home, and you can enjoy sprawling views of Mt. Fuji and surrounding lakes. If you select the lunch inclusive option of the tour, you will get a chance to relish a traditional, Japanese style lunch with a view of the volcanic valley or you can choose to biy your own meal and enjoy it.
After a hearty lunch the tour will head to the nearby Lake Ashi located in the Hakone National Park. Here you will get a chance to go on a short cruise across the lake to experience its raw beauty and admire the spectacular scenery of the pristine waters surround by towering mountains. Disembark from your boat and head to an exhilarating ride on the Mt. Komagatake Ropeway, an aerial tram that takes you from the Lake Ashi to the peak of Mt. Komagatake. After reaching the top you will have time to walk around the mountain top and lose yourself in the stunning views of the Owakudani volcanic valley, Lake Ashi and the majestic Mt. Fuji. After a visit to Hakone, you can then head back to town in a bullet train also known as Shinkansen in the local language where you will be informed by your guide as to how to get back to your hotel.
