Wake up to a day of exploration ahead of you as you reach the Shinjuku Keio Plaza Hotel or Hamamatsucho Bus Terminal and settled down in the comfortable AC vehicle that shall take you through the scenic road south to the city of Kamakura on Sagami Bay. Once you arrive here, enter the Jomyo-ji Temple, an ancient place with a tea room that was constructed over 400 years ago and overlooking a Japanese rock garden. Here, you can immerse yourself in the tranquil atmosphere as you are served matcha (powdered green tea).
Then, visit the Hokoku-ji Temple, featuring a stunning and calming bamboo grove and known to be a part of Rizal sect’s Kencho-ji school. The tour's highlight is to go see the Great Buddha of Kamakura at Kotoku-in Temple - a magnificent bronze statue that is the national icon of the country and dates back to 1252. You can look within the hollow interior of this 43 feet monument as well.
As afternoon approaches, you shall be served a Japanese lunch at a hotel before you head to Enoshima. You shall be given about 30-45 minutes at each stop to take in everything in leisure along with getting great photos. The tour will then conclude at Shinjuku, Tokyo and you can find your own way back to your respective hotels.
