Choose to board the comfortable coach at Keio Plaza Hotel or Hamamatsucho Bus Terminal according to your preference and settle in to enjoy the drive to Nikko, the quaint city that marks the entrance to Nikko National Park. Immerse yourself in the striking natural beauty around you as you explore the National Park. It is most popularly known for the Toshogu Shrine, a UNESCO-listed mausoleum with great historical significance for Japan. The complex of this shrine has been lavishly appointed with wooden carvings and gold leaf unlike other places in Japan. Walk around for a little over an hour with your guide as you observe the detailed work and witness the highly skilled craftsmanship amidst a green forest.

Soon after, take a break as you are a served a Japanese-style lunch before spending some tranquil time at Lake Chuzenji.   • In October and November, heavy traffic due to the autumn leaves is expected and thus Kegon Falls and Lake Chuzenji attractions shall be substituted with one of the following: Taiyuan Mausoleum at Rinno-ji Temple, Futarasan Shrine, Kirifuri Falls or Tamozawa Imperial Villa.
