Vibrant and active, the village of Todos Santos was founded in 1724 and has since been the hub of arts and crafts in the Baja California Region of Mexico.It is backed by the stunning Sierra de la Laguna mountain range which make for several very picturesque locations with restaurants for fine dining and spas to indulge in. The south of Todos Santos is flanked by beaches like San Pedrito and Los Cerritos which are known for their strong surfs, making them the ideal places to catch the sun and surf along the waves in. The iconic Church, Theater, Cultural Center and Museum, and many other historic buildings are often open to public, specially during the Historic Homes Tour, taking enthusiasts back several centuries to lean about the history of Mexico. Several organizations home festivals, workshops and seminars here and the most popular times to visit are during the Art and Music Festivals. The beautiful scenery surrounding this oasis with the mountains and the age old buildings, have been the subject of many memories, photographs and paintings.
