Home of an American expat who moved to Thailand during the WWII and started his own silk company – Jim Thompson Thai Silk Company. The house is cocooned with beautiful gardens and sits on the bank of the Saen Saeb Canal. WIn addition to this the house is a wonder by itself, built in traditional Thai architecture. The museum displays a 17th century standing Buddha and a wooden hand-carved figurine. It is also bedecked with a Belgian chandelier gleaming from the ceiling reflecting off the Italian marble tiles. The décor is accentuated with intricate wooden carvings that exude a regal to this place.
