Home for the largest conservation of elephants in Thailand, the Masea Elephant camp is home to domesticated elephants in Chiang Mai

Established around 1976, the elephant camp is a conversation center for the domesticated elephants acquired from across country along with their mahouts. The center stands on philosophy to create a natural and healthy environment for the elephants to grow, breed and conserve them. The visitors get to interact with the elephants, watch them bathe along the river or enjoy a fabulous show they put up. As elephants are the symbol of Thailand and hold great importance, this sanctuary helps protect them and also offers mahouts training courses for animal lovers.
