Itinerary

In this half-day private tour of Lampoon and Pa Sang, guests have the option of selecting whether they want a morning tour or an afternoon one. Your pickup transfer will arrive at your hotel lobby as per the schedule and you will be taken for a fantastic tour of Lampoon. Lampoon, situated half an hour or so minutes away from Chiang Mai, is a magical ancient land with mountains and opulent temples. Your first visit is to Wat Phrathat Haripoonchai, a 12th-century Buddhist temple that dons gold and copper multi-tier umbrella-like structure at the top. The temple houses many Chedis, a Buddhist stupa in Thai, in various shapes. The temple also has an ancient multi-tiered library with remarkable detailing on the walls and doors safekeeping various ancient Buddhist scriptures and relics. The place is very peaceful and calm. People visiting the temple like to sit for a while in this calm environment and meditate for a few moments. Next stop is Jamathevi temple, situated on a hilltop. The stupa inside Jamathevi temple is one of the oldest stupas in Chiang Mai. Once you are finished with the sightseeing, the next stop in your itinerary is Pa Sang village, popular for art and culture and large production of the finest quality cotton fabrics in Thailand. You will find people working on wooden weaving machines and creating intricated designs and patterns on these clothes that have high market value. The native families have been passing down these skills to their new ones from generations. At the end of the tour, your chauffeur will drop you off at your hotel entrance.
