explore the dense Ao Luk mangroves and historical caves in the northern stretch of Krabi and paddle your way through the lagoons and waterfalls.

Explore the dense mangrove forest located approximately 30 miles north of Krabi, home to some ancient caves, cascading waterfalls, and majestic rivers. Narrow limestone tunnels with stalactites and stalagmites around give the caves a ghostly appearance. One of the caves, Tham Phi Hua To, was used as burial grounds for more than 3000 years and still has uncanny rock formations, portraits, and paintings of those times. Because of its appearance as a giant head, the cave got its name 'Big Headed Ghost Cave' and attracts a large number of archaeologists and to visitors.
