Few people know about the silk road through the south of Thailand, that for centuries served foreign traders who transported goods by sea from the Greek and Roman empires to China and back. Take a tour along the very same ancient silk road, to discover the antique trade goods such as old beads, pottery, coins and ceramic shards at the Khlong Thom Museum. Then you head to the Tiger Cave Temple, which is a relaxing haven where you can meditate. There isn't enough time to climb the 1237 steps to the summit, but you are taken through the shorter trail with 184 steps which leads to the foothills, where monks live near the caves.
You are then brought to Wareerak Hot Spring Spa to enjoy a nutritious lunch, after which you can take a dip in the private mineral hot spring. The hydrotherapy wraps you in tranquility, rejuvenating your body and your mind. Then you follow the jungle trail to reach the Emerald Pool, which is a freshwater pond, before heading back to your accommodation.
