Get ready for an escapade to the Similan Islands, located at the junction between the Andaman Sea and the Indian Ocean. The 9 islands were created from volcanic activity some 65 million years ago, smoothened by glacial ice and now stand as a granite-based, foliage-covered, and coral loving tropical paradise. It has been consistently rated as one of the top international dive sites in the world. The marine life includes organisms such as the parrotfish and the greatest profusion of reef fish.
You will be picked up from your hotel in the morning and taken to the pier by an air-conditioned vehicle. Here you will receive a safety briefing along with snorkeling gear. You will then board a speedboat for the archipelago of Mu Ko Similan National Park. While you make a stop at one of the 11 Similan Islands for a swim in the Andaman Sea, you can relax on the white-sand beach or hike a short distance to a viewpoint while exploring on your own. You will then head to the 4th Similan Island, known as Ko Miang, where you can enjoy a delicious Thai buffet lunch. Once you’re energized, you could head for a refreshing swim. You will then be taken to Similan Island number 7, Ko Hin Pousar, where you can experience snorkeling amid coral gardens as you find sea turtles feeding on the undersea flora. Once you head back to the pier via speedboat, you will be transferred back to your hotel.
