The Curacao Seaquarium is unique in the world because of its open-water-system that pumps in the fresh seawater for the sea life to enjoy their natural habitat. They also have sunlight streaming in through the openings in the roof, making sure that no artificial equipment is required. The aquarium houses over 400 specimens, soon becoming one of the biggest collections of Carribean sea life. There is plenty to do at the aquarium including scuba diving, snorkeling, feeding the tropical fish and going for the various shows. Feed sharks and pet them, watch flamingos, explore the sea from the Underwater Observatory, enjoy the thrill of close animal encounters and much more! There is also a strip of fine white sands and swaying palms to relax at afterward.
