Start your day at your own pace as this tour does not entail an early start. The starting point will be the Zona Bici shop at Calle Arzobispo Meriño 217, which is just a block away from Colombus Plaza and the city's Cathedral, that serves as your first stop. Here you will be told about the park's history and some of the attractions around. You will then ride down to Plaza Padre Billini (a monument that's dedicated to a renowned philanthropist and educator) for you to learn about its history and explore the La Casa del Tostado and other restaurants in the locality. You will continue to ride till you reach the ruins of the Dominicos Convent and Parque Duarte, and then down the Regina's Alley to Regina's Agelorum's church to acquaint yourself with their historical and cultural importance.
After going up Calle Jose Reyes to hit Calle las Mercedes-the new alternative center of the Colonial Zone, you’ll ride down to El Malecón where you will be explained the tale of the Balandra Aurora Monument.
Starting to ride along the old city's wall, you will first reach the South Wall to visit Park San Jose, the Montesinos Monument, La Casa Del Gorjón and Plaza Pellerano Castro before stopping at the Calle las Damas-the oldest street in the city, for you to gather the most historical information. By this time, you’re at East Wall that runs along the Ozama river. This wall features iconic monuments such as Cristopher Columbus House, Hernan Cortes House, La Fortaleza Ozama and many more.
Marking the end of the Calle Las Damas is the Plaza España where you will see Don Diego Colon's Alcazar, El Barrio de las Atarazanas and the ruins of the customs buildings, before heading to the Santa Barbara where your guide will throw light upon the history of slavery in the city. Your last stop is just a block away from the shop, which depicts the Ruins of San Francisco. You will then head back to the shop, to conclude the tour.
