Enter to the 'Golden Age of Piracy' in Nassau, where the pirates governed the area for almost 30 years. This interactive museum takes you on an adventurous journey, showcasing their way of living as well as first possessions on display.


Take a quick stroll through the past of this fantastic island, Bahamas, with Pirates of Nassau Museum. Exciting and interactive, the museum exhibits the lifestyle of the pirates including their accessories, weapons, gold coins, hammocks, and authentic replicas of their black flags with skeleton figures. Learn about the history of pirates that take you back to 1716, where the pirates had made Nassau their center for the ‘Golden Age of Piracy’ that lasted for 30 years. The journey starts with a walk across a shantytown where the huge pirate ship called ‘Revenge’ is anchored in the dock. Next comes the ‘Marooned’ an inhabitant island where the pirates who break the pirates’ code are sentenced for a life-long punishment. The journey follows a series of other adventures like Flag Room, Trials, Women Pirates, The Infamous Blackbeard and more. The museum also has a artifacts room that displays the real objects used by the pirates, cutlasses, flintlock pistols and so much more to discover about the Golden Age of Piracy in Nassau.
