A man made creek which is divided the city in Deira and Bur Dubai, The Dubai Creek has been quietly flowing through time and holds historic significance.


Dubai Creek holds a significant track in the history as it connects the sea trading port to the desert and passes through the heart of Dubai. Today standing as a legacy, Dubai Creek is dotted with several iconic structures including the Al Bastakiya Village, cable car suspension that runs along the creek’s length, Dubai Dolphinarium and also home to the Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club. The club comprises of 18-hole tournament golf course, clubhouses, residential development and the Park Hyatt hotel. Apart from this if you like the idea of slowly soaking in the lovely atmosphere you could hire a water taxi or head to the wooden dhow cruise down the Dubai Creek. You could also treat your sense as you walk through the lanes and inhale the exotic aromas of spices and herbs when you decide to take back for your kitchen. In addition to this, the street sparks with charm as the sun sets, its alive with music and live shows while the Al Seef, Al Muraqabat and Al Rigga Streets are lit during the Dubai Shopping festival.
