The Polynesian Culture Center features six villages that showcase the culture and heritage of the indigenous Polynesian regions of Hawaii, Samoa, Fiji, New Zealand, Tonga and Tahiti. This experience will take you through a tour of the typical day-to-day life of the local people along side their arts and crafts. You can choose to watch the performances and demonstrations or jump in an participate alongside the locals. As you enter the culture center,you will be transported to a completely new world with innumerable shops on display that showcase and sell items from the daily lives of the locals. Take a canoe ride on the lagoon and cook a meal in the Samoan village. Kids will love getting temporary tattoos, spear throwing, ukulele lessons and fishing.
Guests can also experience the renowned show - Ha: Breath of Life, an ancient yet universal tale. The performances have been carried on for centuries and performers dressup and demonstrate just like their ancestors did. These performances will give you a better idea of the cultural richness of the place and the lifestyle of the people. Guests can also feast their eyes on stunning fire performances and performances by fire-knife dancers.
