After being picked up from your hotel in Waikiki area, your first stop will be the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, on the Island of Hawaii. This location is home to Hawaii's two active volcanoes: Kilauea and Mauna Loa. You will embark on a walking tour around the volcanoes for about four hours after which the tour will proceed to the Volcano House. Here you will stop for breakfast and dine on some delectable international and authentic dishes wile enjoying panoramic views of the forests aroud you.
The next stop will be at Kilauea Visitor Center, where you can explore through the curated exhibits and buy from the gift shops to take memories back home. A short visit to the store will give you a better idea of the culture of Hawaii and its people. Move on to the Steam Vents, Pahoa on the Island of Hawaii where you can feel the power of the volcano through the steam vents, where ground water seeps into volcanic rock. The heat and thrust is awe inspiring and a visual treat and you will feel the ground move beneath you as you walk around the vents. Head to the Kilauea Iki Trail where you will trek through natural, greenery and enjoy a view of the 3000 feet wide Kilauea Iki crater.Make sure to keep your camera ready for some amazing shots.After the crater you will head on to the Chain of Craters Road, which you will drive by,the Devastation Trail which showcases the cinder outfall of the 1959 Kilauea Iki eruption that was once a dense rain forest, Kealakomo the boast ancient lava fields that had submerged an ancient village and the Mauna Loa Macadamia Nut Visitor Center where you can embark on a self-guided tour of factory and grounds.
The tour also includes stops at the Akaka Falls State Park, the Rainbow Falls, Banyan Drive where you can drive through quaint Hilo Town along magnificent Banyan tree-lined streets along Hilo's coastline known as the "Hilo Walk of Fame" and the stunning Liliuokalani Gardens, which are renowned for it's lush Japanese gardens.
