Making your Bali vacation family friendly

It is amazing how much more time you need to invest in planning a family vacation when you are traveling with a baby, toddler, kid or a teenager. Each of them has a different requirement during a vacation while yours is mostly wanting to get a massage on the beach or have a great cocktail while relaxing in an infinity pool.

When families plan their vacation, they need to check if the hotel is child friendly, if they provide baby food and accessories (baby cot, high chair etc.), do they provide room service, do they provide babysitting, do they have a doctor on-call, do they have a kid’s pool, a kids play area or a kids club, if they provide experiences that are child friendly or designed for children, are they located close to any child friendly activities….the list seems endless. Besides this list, many hotels and resorts can be hard to get to in exotic destinations – something no one seems to immediately think of when traveling with a baby. When you have to fly, drive and take a boat to get somewhere with a baby, it’ll probably be immediately off your shortlist.

While researching, you may come across Bali as one of the top kid-friendly destinations in south-east Asia but you’ll always wonder what it is that you can do with your kids. Here’s a list of things that really help you figure out where to stay and what you can do.
